The rapid stop machine is an adjustable soft stop designed to be installed on the end of a conveyor system to rapidly stop parts without damage. This is especially useful when a part must be stopped for the next process but maintaining high line speed is important.

Cushioned stop: the stop is mounted on linear shafts and ball bearings for robust long-life operation. Built in cushions allow the stop to be rapidly deaccelerated without causing damage to the product. The cushions are adjustable to provide the correct amount of deacceleration pressure. Each end of the stop can be adjusted by a hand wheel for ease of alignment during installation.

Fence: The product interface of the stop configured to accommodate any product, whether low coefficient of friction pads, urethane rollers or other is required. 

 Configurable:

• Stop product interface: steel, composite pads, polished metal, composite or steel rollers

Options:

• Heavy duty mounting brackets
• Customer supplied mounting brackets
